This is what life is like in the dog meat trade in South Korea.
The latest in a series of "Draw My Life" videos from the perspective of animals, this short film shows what dogs endure every day in the South Korea dog meat trade. This heartbreaking industry is both cruel and completely unnecessary

Published on Jul 24, 2015 Our goal is to stop the abuse of dogs in Korea. Each year over two million dogs are slaughtered by Korea’s unregulated dog meat industry, often after enduring unbearable suffering. We develop public awareness, community outreach and international adoption to replace cruelty with compassion for dogs in Korea.
DoVE Project—Dogs of Violence Exposed—is focused on ending the dog meat trade in Asia, where extreme cruelty and torture prior to slaughter is routine and well documented. We believe that this change ultimately must come from within. To that end, rescue efforts, education and advocacy are the driving components of DoVE Project.
Animal Rights Advocates is a volunteer, non-profit organization.
PLEASE JOIN US IN OUR FIGHT AGAINST THE DOG AND CAT MEAT TRADE IN S KOREA
In S Korea alone, 2.5 million dogs and thousands of cats are slaughtered annually for human consumption.
The manner in which they are killed is considered to be one of extreme torture. This is because one of the myths regarding the benefits of dog meat is that, the more the animal suffers, the better the meat will
be for the consumer.

Coexistence of Animal Rights on Earth (CARE) was founded in 2002, by Soyoun Park. CARE is a registered non-profit in Souht Korea and the United States. We are the largest animal rights organization in South Korea, with more than 80,000 members.
It is estimated that anywhere between two to five million dogs are slaughtered every year for human consumption in South Korea. Every thirteen seconds a dog is slaughtered for human consumption. Many of the dogs are raised on farms, but others are strays taken off the streets or family pets that were bought or stolen. CARE conducted a one and a half year undercover investigation into South Korea's dog meat industry and campaigns endlessly to get this inherently cruel industry banned.
