Marc Ching is a hero for the animals. But what makes him stand out is his relentless drive to fight for the animals in risking his life, being beaten, robbed and held at gunpoint as well as with a machete blade, in his efforts to rescue hundreds of dogs in Asia from the meat industry.

The activist group, Save Korean Dogs, is a team, run by Nami Kim, that have been running yearly campaigns to bring awareness and lower the dog meat consumption.
Nami Kim shuts down dog meat farms, rehabilitates, rescues and rehomes many dogs, and works with the government to bring about long term policy change,

This Woman is Raising 200 Dogs She Saved From Death in South Korea
For the last 26 years, 61-year-old Jung Myoung Sook has been rescuing and caring for dogs and puppies in South Korea, where dogs only recently became popular as pets and are often killed for food. So far she’s saved more than 200 dogs from death.
